Granted the Krita community isn’t as large as the Adobe community so it’s tougher to find brushes. In my opinion Krita is the best free Photoshop alternative out there with many of the same features: layering, blend modes, and custom brushes(among others). If you love Krita or want to pick it up then you already know it’s a great art program.
